2. pedos are obviously bad, but they're at least universally illegal; if you're aware of one, you call the authorities and they solve that problem for you. political ones are where it gets hairy, ambiguous, and unenforceable via technical and/or licensing solutions
(FWIW, it's basically Hacker News, but without any VC navel gazing/sycophants or other non-tech related things; and a better community with better moderation)
@Elizafox @kaniini @msk that and... how do you deal with people who are offending now? the scoping of offenses matters too; who are the bad people you don't want to see on your network? is the wording vague enough you/people you want are included in it?
the most effective option is control who you federate with, and apply white/blacklists as needed.
