@JordiGH It's actually sort of an english term. You pronounce it latin-eks, like Malcolm X's name. It is a gender neutral version of Latino/Latina. I pretty much only here it used in discussions of the diaspora in the US. Hispanic = people from caribean countries and central/south american countries who were previously colonized by Spain. Latinx = Hispanics + people from other caribean countries and central/south american countries who were not colonized by Spain. example: Brazil.
